On orders of President Barack Obama, US Navy Seals effected an amazing rescue of Capt. Richard Phillips, with Navy snipers killing three Somali pirates with three precision shots. Most of the mainstream media celebrated this rescue effort and praised the mission and Obama’s swift and decisive action during this crisis.
I say most. Noticeably deviant from this celebratory mood was (you’re way ahead of me) the anchors and brightly-colored pundits of Fox “News,” who criticized the President for not doing something sooner. Gee guys, so sorry. Maybe we should just put Captain Phillips back in the hands of the pirates and wait for Geraldo to do something. Twerps.
Do these crew members look upset with President Obama and the rescue mission?
