While he’s winning praise for energizing the weary debate, those dour, sour NeoCons have dug in their heels in protest, to make sure no American gets affordable health care coverage, ever.
They’re working overtime to plant the seeds of political suicide in the minds of Democrats, claiming that a vote for health care reform will guarantee they’re never elected again. GOP Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee said the president and House Democratic leaders are asking their colleagues to “hold hands, jump off a cliff and hope Harry Reid catches them.” Wow – are they that beholden to Big Pharma and Big Corporate Insurance?
