A sucker is born every minute. I’ve heard a lot of exited “liberal” callers the last couple of days: A little tough talk form the prez directed at the pigs that run the Ruthug Party, and the suckers, are falling all over themselves to be fooled again. They will be fooled again. Obama had eighteen months to demonstrate actually what he is: A war monger and a corporate whore. We saw his “progressive” act during the last election, and now we’re seeing it again. Obama’s got the go ahead now– in the eleventh hour– from Rahm Emanuel to play “liberal.” This play-acting will continue right up until November. Time to rally up the base to sell them out in December. But here’s the beauty of Barack’s position, whether the Democrats hold onto Congress or not really doesn’t matter. Obama with or without a Democratic majority, is going full speed ahead with his real agenda next winter: Initiating a war with Iran, and dismantling social security. The ugly truth is, Barack Obama from a legislative standpoint, just like Bill Clinton, will be much better off with a Republican Congress than a Democratic one. Funny thing is, if this happens, and Obama succeeds in completely finishing off all the accomplishments of FDR, the Rethugs will try to impeach the ‘socialist/Hitler’ anyway.

Let’s compare FDR with Obama (there ARE some similarities): FDR was reviled by his adversaries, yet the American people had enough faith in him to end the Depression with his “socialist” programs and to end the war, to elect him FOUR times!
Obama has done more in 18 months to improve this country than FDR did in HIS first 18 months!

FDR and Obama let’s see.
FDR while attacking the “economic royalists” got the Glass-Steagall Act passed, Emergency Banking Act passed, established the CCC and the AAA and passed the National Industrial Recovery Act all in less than two years. Of course,the TVA, WPA and the Social Security Act didn’t come until after 1935.
Meanwhile, Barack has kissed the ass of every corporatist he can find in the name of “looking forward,” and “bipartisanship.” Obama has actually made these corporatists pigs the core of his Cabinet. Barack has given us a health insurance windfall profits bill, and unsanctioned– illegal– war against Pakistan, and an expanded war against Afghanistan (war against the Tillman family). Obama wants more nuclear and coal power development, and more off shore oil drilling. And all while doing an absolute minimum to promote “green jobs” or in fact any jobs.
If this is a record some want to match up against FDR, I say: “May God have mercy have their souls.” But then again, I’m just a Buffalo Soldier.

Regarding the dumping of the woman from the USDA job, last I heard is that the USDA is “rethinking” their decision to dump her. If they DO offer the job back to her, I hope she does NOT accept it. Why? Because this is a PRIME example of why she should SUE the ever lovin’ SHIT out of the USDA and ALSO the President! If she does NOT sue them cowardly, reactionary SONSABITCHES, then what is going to stop them from acting/reacting similarly again in the future!?! No FREAKING WAY should ANY President get involved in the H.R. aspect of a Federal employee in a situation like this. This is NOTHING like firing a General in the military for publicly talking smack about the President and the Administration.
This lady NEEDS to SUE the President and the USDA so there will be a precedent to protect the rest of us from this kind of BULLSHIT!!!! If EVER there was an example of how PUSSY-WHIPPED the current Administration is and how COWARDLY they are and kowtow to these FUCKING RePIGlicans and the right-wing extremists (e.g. – Faux News, TeaBaggers, Limpballs, etc.), this example of dumping this woman NAILS it!
