Regarding the dumping of the woman from the USDA job, last I heard is that the USDA is “rethinking” their decision to dump her. If they DO offer the job back to her, I hope she does NOT accept it. Why? Because this is a PRIME example of why she should SUE the ever lovin’ SHIT out of the USDA and ALSO the President! If she does NOT sue them cowardly, reactionary SONSABITCHES, then what is going to stop them from acting/reacting similarly again in the future!?! No FREAKING WAY should ANY President get involved in the H.R. aspect of a Federal employee in a situation like this. This is NOTHING like firing a General in the military for publicly talking smack about the President and the Administration.
This lady NEEDS to SUE the President and the USDA so there will be a precedent to protect the rest of us from this kind of BULLSHIT!!!! Matt, I don’t know how any “true” progressive could blame you for “bashing” Obama. Obama is a center-right, corporate Democrat. I feel Obama has been a continued disappointment for all true progressives that were hoping he’d move more to the left and like FDR be “forced” into becoming a true progressive. That didn’t and never will happen.
In 2012 I will NOT vote for Obama. Who knows if we’ll get a decent Green Party choice, but I’ve decided that I will vote, but I will most likely write in Dennis Kucinich for President even if he isn’t running, which I’m SURE the Democratic Party wouldn’t allow anyone to run against Obama. Respect for the incumbent? Screw that B.S. notion! I will NOT support Obama or any “corporate” Democrat. Will my write-in vote be a waste? Maybe to the Democrats, but certainly not to ME!
