PAC Man

Billionaires with endless surplus cash to toss around often buy eccentric oddities to amuse themselves, or just because they can.  Gold plated ear buds, exotic African animals for their personal zoo, private jets, private islands . . . billionaire husband and wife team Sheldon and Miriam Adelson are so very rich, with almost $22 billion in the bank, the 8th wealthiest persons in America weren’t happy with their other fancy toys, so they bought themselves a whole, entire person of their very own!

Not just any person, but a large person.  A big fat court jester and presidential wannabe who can provide them endless hours of entertainment and unwavering support for Israel.

Newtron Gingrich had a price tag it seems, and $10 million hit the mark. All Newt had to do to put the sparkle in the Adelson’s eye was declare that the Palestinians were an “invented people” and POOF!  Just like magic, checkbooks appear and money rains on him like proverbial (literally) manna from Heaven.  Casino magnate Sheldon provided an initial $5 million to pad the SuperPAC Newt uses to fund his campaign, if not his cheeseburger habit.  Shelly’s wife Miriam tossed in another $5 million following his win in South Carolina.

Why can’t they buy a white tiger or endangered panda or something?  But I digress . . .

$10 billion to his personal PAC.  That’s a lotta Tiffany’s bling for Callie, enough to keep his shrink-wrapped and shellacked bride clear-coated in diamonds for years to come.  She might just survive that nuclear explosion a Gingrich presidency could likely provoke.

Hi. What happeend to the show last night? I’m listening to the podcast, and 7:50 into the show I hear Kathy in the background saying “You’re no on the air,” and everything goes dead.

I also began listening to the podcast of Tuesday’s show and everything went blank after a few minutes. I’m surprised there wasn’t an old show put in to cover the dead air.

Count me in with those who would like an explanation about the 1/24 podcast.

    There’s only one answer.

I find it interesting that you the Americans find it so disrespectful to view American soldiers urinating on dead captives? Why did you not feel it disrespectful when you showered populations with white phosphorus? When you saw children running through streets with their flesh on fire?
OK I guess because Fox news ie the GOP news organisation did not publish it. You know why so many soldiers commit suicide when they come home? It is because of this. The things they saw was unreal. I pick up the pieces the defence department left behind. The screaming never stops. They cant shut it out
so they kill themselves. My God what have you done to the people in this country that loved you so much?

gr8macaw, you are preaching to the choir, here! If you’ve been listening to the Malloy show for even a LITTLE bit and/or kept up on his blog/message board, you’d already KNOW that WE Americans (at least the Malloy-ite Americans!) have been RANTING and RAVING about those things for over a DECADE! Some of us have even gone so far as to go to jail to protest such things. Why don’t you go and post your message ON the right-wing boards!?! I’m sure all the knuckle-draggers over at FAUX-news, Limpballs, Insane-hanity, Blen Gleck, et. al will LOVE to hear from you. THOSE are the people that need to receive your message(s). ;-)

Re: Susan G Komen Fndn de-funding of Planned Parenthood.

I remember last year when Joe Lieberman was blocking the health care reform act, I heard his wife was an “ambassador” for SGKF. It made me mad then and now I’m mad all over again!
