The GOP HQ is calling, they’re running low on White-Out and dry erase markers.

Could Mittens have a worse week?

He begins by lashing out at Obama’s foreign policy failures and so-called “apology” before the US Ambassador’s body is cold, unaware – or uncaring – of the four dead Americans lost in the Consular attack in Benghazi, Libya . Then he rushes to the nearest TV cameras and rubs salt in the nation’s wounds by asserting that his message was on target: the President who ordered the killing of Osama bin Laden and sent drone strikes into Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia (and only Allah knows where else) is an apologist to the Muslim world and weak on foreign policy. Uh, yeah.

But Willard’s ugly, deformed statement last week was but a tiny ripple compared to the tidal wave of negative press he’s receiving in the aftermath of the Mother Jones video release.  (Full Video Here) In case you missed it, Megabucks Mitt was speaking to a glossy group of wealthy supporters at a May fundraiser and did not realize he was being secretly recorded and that the recordings would find their way to YouTube. (Damn that Al Gore and his pesky Internets). The .01% from Boca Raton, Florida, shelled out $50,000 a head to hear Willard verbally pet and stroke them while ripping the Obama-supporting moochers on Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, Medicaid, and other social services who refuse to take responsibility for their sad little lives.

The real Willard Mitt Romney has revealed his true self (if not his tax returns) at long last.

Bishop Romney, sounding comfortable and relaxed and totally in his element, casually explained to the well-fed and well-bred his total disdain for middle-class and working poor Americans who receive government support and who thought they were somehow entitled to things like food and shelter. (What was that the Founding Fathers said about Unalienable Rights? Uh, never mind). These poor unfortunates see themselves as victims, Mittens leisurely explained, and were worthy of his and his audience’s total disregard because they would always vote for Obama. See, Obama would promise them help with employment, or health care, or tell “victims” they have a right to eat and have a place to live. Stupid losers.

Mother Jones has the whole blockbuster:
There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.
Romney went on: “[M]y job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

Okay . . . deep breath. Mittens is denigrating roughly half the population of the US because they are so-called “working poor,” or struggling middle class or working class and . . . they don’t pay federal income taxes. This from a man who hid his hundreds of millions in Swiss bank accounts and shifted his businesses to the Cayman Islands – or wherever – to avoid paying US taxes. Does that make him one of his own self-declared pitiful victims who live to feed at the public trough? Or is it okay to dodge taxes if you’re extremely rich, but it’s bad bad bad to be so abused by corporate America that you’re unemployed or under-employed and simply don’t earn enough to feed your family or meet even the lowest income level requirement for taxation?

Now that his true colors are flying for all to see, at least he can drop the failed pretense of being a man of the people who understands the problems facing average Americans. He pretended, unconvincingly, that he could relate to most of middle America. But “middle America” know the closest Megabuck’s has come to a tragedy was when his award-winning dancing pony almost stepped into his car elevator. Or his dog got sunburned strapped to the top of the Romney’s car as it sped across the desert.

H ow can he be President of All the People of These United States if he has written off half the population as victims who relish their victim hood? A population refusing to take responsibility for their pathetic lives?

Elder Mittens staged a hasty presser and explained it this way:

It’s not elegantly stated, let me put it that way. I’m speaking off the cuff in response to a question and I’m sure I can state it more clearly in a more effective way than I did in a setting like that and so I’m sure I’ll point that out as time goes on but we don’t even have the question given the snippet there nor the full response and I hope the person who has the video would put out the full material. But it’s a message which I’m going to carry and continue to carry which is look the president approach is attractive to people who aren’t not paying taxes because frankly my discussion about lowering taxes isn’t as attractive to them and therefore I’m not likely to draw them in to my campaign as effectively as those who are in the middle.

So let me make sure I understand his non-apology. What Mittens meant to say – more elegantly, of course – was that this pathetic 47%, moochers all, don’t earn enough to pay taxes and, therefore, his message of lower taxes won’t make sense to them and they will vote for Obama. Funny how he totally ignored his ugly comments about how they play “victim” and refuse to take responsibility. The woman on food stamps is to be derided, the veteran receiving benefits from his service overseas is a leech, the senior on chemotherapy paid for – in part – by Medicare is shirking their personal responsibility; but the rich tax-dodger is to be applauded for his hearty, proud (completely phony) independence. These are, clearly, his values.

Which is the greater sin? If I could only remember the exact quote. . . what is that part of the Bible about a rich man, a camel and the eye of a needle? Isn’t there something about the poor inheriting the kingdom of heaven, or why it is good to help the less fortunate? Where is that part about hiding your cash overseas and berating the poor for seeking food and shelter?  Maybe Bishop Romney can help out with the correct Bible verses, he being such a godly man and all.

For the life of me, I can never find the compassion in these conservatives – no matter how hard I look.

Romneys campaign is so dead rumor has it,

    its just been baptized.

  2. Denny NNWofLA says:

This dirty rotten to the core son of a bitch would,
if elected or appointed to the presidency, take
everything we may still have and make us pay for
the service. Annoying to him as it may be, I AM
entitled to food, shelter, medical care, education
and human dignity. We ALL are. HUMAN DIGNITY, look
it up, Mitt. Our country is NOT pay per view, yet.
Let’s shove a goddamn camel through each eye of this
filthy needle head before he is able to foreclose on
America and dispose of all of us considered to be
so undeserving of our birthrights and rights to life.

I am convinced beyond doubt, that Mitt Romney is NOT
out of touch with normal people, he is absolutely
contemptuous of us and means nothing good for us.

  3. Fruit-for-Peace says:

Denny, go eat some CAKE! I’m kidding, of course, but it does make me think that those French revolutionaries knew how to deal with the elitist, arrogant, self-important, aristocratic SONSABITCHES!!!! Hello, guillotine! Oh, hello GUILLOTINE!!!!

In the words of Robert Plant, “Where IS that confounded guillotine!?!” ;-)

  4. Denny NNWofLA says:

Does the planet/star Kolob consist of gated
communities? If so, who are they trying to
keep out? Or are they attempting to confine?

Perhaps we should consider a liberation of
    Kolob, after we liberate ourselves.

Cake? Last time I tried it, “It was all yellow.”
But as with “Sweet Marie’s” story, W’s didn’t add
up either. Beware the Ides of Twinkies and Ding
    Dongs. I hear you.

Bottom line… There must be hundreds of people
that believe Mitt Romney is Their Guy.

  5. chucky says:

Denny…instead of liberating Kolob, I think we should deport both Willard and Glenn Beck there. Let them see their spook up close.

  6. Denny NNWofLA says:

Good idea, Chucky. But let’s not forget Arch
and all of his various manifestations.

  7. chucky says:

    Done. Shit-for-brains is gone too.

  8. What a beautifully eloquent commentary Kathy. Your humanity shines through in every word.

Maybe if the Occutards keep this up, we won’t have to worry about the police needing to waste bullets on them. We can let the problem eliminate itself.

  10. SHS says:

“Annoying to him as it may be, I AM entitled to food, shelter, medical care, education and human dignity.”

    If you pay for them.
I have every right to walk into a store and PAY for food, or save money and PAY for a house or PAY rent for an apartment, and PAY for medical care, and PAY for my education. I do not have the right to receive these things from others for nothing. I cannot force someone somewhere to labor againt their will. Slavery is evil.

  11. irishdave3 says:

On Kolob the “gated community” has just like the Bain Factories in China, barbed wire.

  12. Denny NNWofLA says:

Very luxurious, solid gold, ornately barbed wire
sculptures depicting Elders of the Mormon Church,
no doubt. But meant to exclude young girls from
entering, as Mitt would have us believe, or intended
to confine those trapped within? I’m guessin’ the
    Latter, day Saints.

  13. Jacob R Clark says:

Kathy, you rock. That dipshit said these things doesn’t surprise me at all; I can see through his Ken-doll facade as plainly as I can see the zit on my nose. He’s a package, an empty suit, a huckster, a charlatan, a prick, ad infinitum. The good thing about this is that perhaps the uninformed assholes you will vote for him against their own interests MIGHT see what he’s truly all about, too. Or we can only hope (or pray?). Thanks to you and Mike for ALL YOU DO!!!

  14. Chris says:

Watching him debate Obama should be fun.

  15. RSU says:

“He’s a package, an empty suit, a huckster, a charlatan, a prick, ad infinitum.”

Give Obama SOME credit. He’s also a teleprompter. Although, even with that he can’t pronounce “corpsman” correctly.

  16. Denny NNWofLA says:

Hey SH_ _S, here’s your IT. Now EAT IT.

  17. chucky says:

These dumb bastard republikkklans keep forgetting who made using a teleprompter fashionable.

    The Sainted Ronald Wilson Reagan.

    Fuck you dumb bastard republikkklans.

And don’t this. Obama may use a teleprompter, but it’s because he can read one. Chucklenutz Bush couldn’t do that.

  18. chucky says:

    “And don’t forget this.” /\

    Gotta slow down a little.

  19. GagMe says:

You git yer talking points from the govmnt today boy?
Gawdamn that phony laugh and yer Ed Schultz like penchant for the obvious … drummin up support for those middle eastern murders in the DLC , why not sell out and join MSNBC?
