Of Mice and Mittens

Now that Ricky has quit the GOP circus, primary turnout numbers are declining faster than Mittens’ Cadillac elevator.  Mitt can’t muster a shrug from even the most rabid right-wingers, so he’s considering an appearance on Saturday Night Live to spice up his campaign.  It’s hard to imagine what skits they’ll write to make him appear, well, human.

The New York Daily News reports:

“I want it to be funny,” Romney told Diane Sawyer late Monday. “Of course it would depend on the nature of the skit.”

Appearing on the live sketch show could be a stretch for Romney, whose attempt at off-the-cuff remarks on the campaign trail have led to gaffes on everything from the number of cars he owns to the number of NFL owners he knows.

However, it could allow him a chance to further “unzip” — as his wife put it — and show off what his friends and family claim is a hidden funny side.

Is America ready for Romney, unzipped?  Sounds kinda creepy.  But if Steve Martin would return to reprise his “Wild and Crazy Guy” with Romney in the Aykroyd role then that might be something to see.

Also, what is up with the Teabaggers war on poor people?  As if the War on Women wasn’t bad enough, now they want to eliminate food stamps and public assistance for the working poor?  Are they as heartless and they are brainless?

    Hats off to the baggers.
Let them lead the way by
    giving up their Social Security
benefits and medicare. What an example
they could set for the rest of us to follow.
The savings, of course must be sent to the wealthy.

I need to ask you guys something. I’ve had some problems posting comments on this blog from my home computer. I still can do it from my work computer. Every time I try to post something from home it just disappears as if I did nothing. It started during the last pissing contest I got into with Arch. I’ve been in contact with the webmaster for MikeMalloy.com and they’re stumped. All of my info is the same on both computers, i.e: name and e-mail address, so I know I haven’t been banned. I’m thinking it has something to do with IP address, but I have no clue on how to change it. Do you guys have any ideas? I really would like to fix this. It’s extremely frustrating!

Mitt or Obama, we are sooo screwed. More and more the rich are getting their way and they are “in your face confident”. Obama has 53 million? Who is giving that cash? Not me.

Watch for higher payroll tax for us, no tax deductions, higher food and gas prices while 1% gets breaks, and we fight conflicts for them.

The rich, own our Congress and Senate. The Military Industrial Complex, knows who sends them the money.

Obama goes to South America, not to fix drug war but to throw millions at it. We’re broke but millions ( like all financial aid) will go down the rabbit hole!

Sorry to be a downer, but I don’t see a fair fight. When American’s do try to take back the Country. As armed as Americans are, NATO and Drones will win. Rich people planning on that. Cut, food, water, gas, and NATO, that is where we are heading if people can’t see that. I just wanted a comfortable retirement in 10 years. Don’t see it. If they wanted world government they could have done it without greed and killing.

Sorry Mitt, you and this situation is not funny.

Chucky, I not only feel your pain,
but now know why you haven’t, unexpectedly,
shown up at times. And I thought you were
exercising restraint. Happy to be wrong on that!

You’ve already done what I would have suggested
by contacting the webmaster. It happened once to me
and they hooked me up again. Then lots of messages
that had disappeared, suddenly all showed up.
It was kind of embarrassing. Keep trying though.

Also, now I remember e-mailing Kathy. I credit her
for straightening things out. Thanks again, Kathy.
