Smells Like Sheer Terror

Hi Truthseekers, is it impeachment yet?  Are we wagging Syria’s dog yet?  Who had Friday the 13th in the poll . . .

We are a classic Malloy Show tonight – get this – we dug one up from the White Rose Vault and found one about (get ready for it) SCOOTER LIBBY’S PARDON!!!!!!!!!!!  And it was April 2007.  11 years ago.  Rule of Law, Obstruction of Justice.  Un-freaking-real.

Gotta hear it, it’s like an episode of The Twilight Zone.

PS- if we haven’t been overly forthcoming of late, apologies.  We have been dealing with a couple of doubleplusungood medical issues around the Malloy HQ.  Mike is going to have a procedure for this severe spinal stenosis that has been causing him agonizing sciatic leg pain for 10 weeks now that has a 90% success rate, so we are hopeful.  But that’s not for two weeks yet.

In the middle of this I had a scary false alarm about a mammogram finding.  Fortunately turned out fine, but it was a very tense week.

Meanwhile, Mike has maxed out on the number of epidural blocks he can receive in a 3-month period, so is now alternating visits to the chiropractor, acupuncturist, Chinese doctor, and massage therapist.  Oh, and “herbal specialists” have been of limited assistance.  Thanks for asking ūüėČ

Bottom line is that Mike may have to have a few extra days off here and there until this is resolved toward the end of the month.  Just apologies in advance.  We don’t want to miss a minute of the Series Finale of The Apprentice, but might not have an option.

Plus, it might be good for Mike to be heavily sedated for the next episode in the series.  His head might explode.  Just aren’t enough squeeze-balls in all of Walmart for what’s coming down the pike.

Unfortunately, these setbacks have stalled the book progress.  We released that last chapter, along with a slew of photos and memorabilia, and then the intermittent pain became near-constant and rendered him impossible to sit in one position.

We do have some exciting book news to share with you soon, however, so there is light at the end of the micro-dilater, just gotta tough it out a little longer.

Thank you for your patience, and thank you for your ongoing support, for ALL the ways you keep it lit . . . .

So sorry mike that you are going through so much right now. If this procedure is that successful you need to let your listeners know. We all age and begin to wear out parts much like a vehicle!  Between that and many medical & Doc screwups I have myself been fighting one recovery after another. US has some of the worst health care on earth for a lot of money. My BCBS plan charges me $60 visit for therapy as specialists and they pay 17! After writeoff. A doc screwed up my carpal tunnel on my dominant hand so bad I have.been in therapy with new Doc for 6 months.  Took me from 10 pain to 2 pain   This one therapist not others in group has been fantastic. Went from wanting hand chopped off to real hope of total recovery eventually and lots of dollars!   National health care.  Democratic socialism.  Bernie Sanders.  Hubby got laid off. Health insurance is one if the biggest f-ups on earth!  We are the lowest on totem pole in industrial countries.  we are not industrial any more!!!   So sad!!!!  Too bad!! Your dad!!!!   My poor dad is rising up from his grave!!   And his dad!!!!   All they fought for Рunions and human rights!!  Had retinal tear after vitreous detachment 2.65 yr ago. Surgery fixed vision except for these spiders that float across my eye!  But the idiotic way they do surgery with a big man pinning a 120lb woman against the standard eye exam table with no way to numb pain shooting laser beams into the eye to seal the retina so as not to lose sight for about 1/2 hour with burning and tears running down your face -well the head pain afterwards was astronomical- in ER 3times.  Last young Doc had to tell me the only way to relieve the pain was to go on lorazepam!!   Unfortunately he was right. What started all this was a reaction to another drug that shot my BP sky high and made me so sick that my weight went down 10 lbs and I have only been able to gain 5 lb back since then.   Could tell you a whole lot more about severe pain and loss of sleep for 4 months from carpal tunnel mess up that I got a bad case if shingles at age 60!  Doc never recommended shingles vaccine.  Got new one March 17 here in TN and gave me a bad staph infection possibly from chemical burn Рdoc is getting this under control with only staph cream antibiotic in the market. I live in TN!  All counties in tN except one voted for Trump. What more do I need to say!!!

Nothing to apologize for, Kathy. Thank you so much for sharing your and Mike’s situation with your listening “family.” We (or, at least, me) are so much better off knowing, and not guessing, about how you-all are doing. Be well, and know that there are good wishes coming to you and Mike.

Deepest and dearest appreciation to you Kathy for your candor in informing us as to our friend and campfire host’s current situation.
We will continue around the fire keeping it lit and ready for Mike to rejoin us.

Mike,  I should have added that I hope your recovery from the procedure is quick and with as little pain as possible.  I live in Knoxville TN Рgreat percentage of docs here have their degrees from UnivOfTN -not enough diversity!
Try to get Bob Kincaid AMAP and maybe ask Nicole Sandler, though I think that may still be too much for her schedule unless she can pre-record.
Wishing the best for you and family!

Sorry to hear you’ve been in great pain, Mike. Wasn’t it Bette Davis who said: “Old age ain’t for sissies.”? I like those 9-to-1 odds your upcoming operation will be a success. Kathy, sorry to hear about your recent scare. I’m so glad the tests came out negative. Both you and Mike are an important part in my life and the lives of many truthseekers.

Here’s some cheerful news. This weekend I’m visiting the town I grew up in, in upstate New York. It’s been a Republican stronghold for as long as I’ve been alive. My former next-door neighbor said last year the level of disgust over Trump reached critical mass. Every politician with an (R) after his or her name got voted out!
I conclude the DNC will have to exceed even its tradition of incompetency to not at least win back the House.
